Oh… hello. I’m Glim.

I’m not always very good at meeting new friends, and sometimes my glow becomes very small when I feel nervous… but Alaska Bear says even tiny lights can shine brightly.

I live deep inside Emberwillow Woods in a little lantern hollow hidden beneath the glowing trees. I like quiet places, warm lantern light, and listening to the woodland sounds at night.

Sometimes I worry too much, and sometimes I hide when the woods feel too noisy or busy… but my friends always help me feel brave again.

I love to watch the star’s at night, with my Mossberry muffin and cup of tea. I wonder whatthe star’s are like close up.

Alaska says I notice magical things that other people miss. I think that might be because I spend a lot of time looking carefully at the woods.

I also like glowing mushrooms, collecting shiny pebbles, and drinking warm blackberry tea beside my lanterns.

But… please don’t stomp too loudly near my hollow. You might scare the fireflies away.
